The girls were on form again last Wednesday teaching 3 x 90minute math based classes that relate to our industry to encourage girls to think about STEM careers.
EFT Director Jordan commented: “What a powerful day we have all had giving young ladies an opportunity to think of a career in engineering. I am incredibly proud of our girl apprentices who worked really hard to make each lesson fun and educational and I was seriously impressed with the tasks that they came up with for the sessions. These included a circuit challenge, safe code breaking using binary, orienteering using ohms law and the 9 dot challenge to encourage them to think outside the box. It was a brilliant day and the feedback was that we had the most interesting and fun session! Well done girls!”
